4. Is e-Court free to use for everybody ?

No, it is not. We are a subscription membership open to (1) counsel seekers as well as (2) counsel providers, the latter who want to offer professional services online as a second tier revenue base but can not afford to design & maintain their own website as well as conduct 24/7 online marketing to reach potential customers. They are very happy to increase networking activities with e-Court and focus on matters what they are good in. Counsel providers are subject to a rigorous vetting procedure.

5. How much does membership cost?

We offer a No-Charge Temporary Membership, via Register.

Full & Active are payable memberships with search access to all of our databases including the ability to conduct Active Conflict Resolution cases. These memberships require fees, the amount which depend on your country of residence and are expressed in your local currency.

For the USA, annual subscriptions range between $125 to $950 and depend on chosen member category : (1) Counsel Seekers and within this group the applicable various types such Individual, Company, Government, Legal. (2) Counsel Providers, who register on armslength or contract and have also their own set of applicable fees.

6. Are fees refundable ?

Membership fees are non-refundable, non-transferable and are not pro-rated.

7. Are there any additional costs after membership fees ?

Yes, counselling costs ( albeit often a fraction - 60% of traditional counsel fees ( no brick/mortar overhead ! ). These are charged on "a case by case" basis and compensate the counsel provider and e-Court admin fees. Cousel Providers are free to set their own rates but should be within e-Court 60% guidelines.

8. I am a counsel provider and want to offer my services via e-Court, what next ?

You need to decide if you/your organization want a relationship on arms-length or contract basis.

Arms-length relates to your services being selected by members who seek counselling on a case by case basis. Your are truly on arms-length from e-Court and you are free to set your own compensation level within the standard 60% limit of your regular fees.

The second category relates to the situation where e-Court negotiates a suitable non-employee contract position within the e-Court country organization ( this can be Executive Director/MD, Director/GM or Manager - The MD and GM would normally occupy a board position with possibly equity opportunities ). Your services are listed as First-Choice but counsel seekers are of course completely free in their choice who to select from e-Courts total pool of resources. The second category also includes the e-Court admin support group such as Admin Clerk, Financial Manager, Complaint Commission, Marketing Manager to name a few.

Both arms-length and contract basis counsel providers may expect suitable compensation as well as a much larger exposure for their expertises when compared to own marketing efforts within traditional venues and networking.
